1. What happened? and who was involved?
I read my first book for the first time by myself unexpectedly. Only my mom and I were involved. My grandma briefly played a part in my essay.
2.When and where did it happen?
This particular event occurred in my first bedroom in my bed. I was a young child, approximately three years old. It was during the fall in the evening before bed.
3. What makes the story come alive?
In writing my essay I will be sure to include descriptions of all my senses. I will provide vivid images so my readers can see what I was experiences. Including my own emotions and excitement will connect with my readers. Writing in chronological order with help my audience follow along better.
4. Who's telling the story?
I am telling the story and it will be completely through my point of view. There will be dialogue from both my mom and I.
5. Why does the story matter?
This story matters a lot to me because it has a played a part in the person I am today and how I view reading and writing. This story explains a time that I bonded with my mom. Being close with my mom and learning from her is very important to me. This story paints a picture of a time in my childhood. A lot of people can relate to this story because it is about learning to read.
